Mary Ann is a believer in the transformative powers of healing. As a therapist, Mary Ann uses postmodern, person-centered, and relational models in her work with clients. Mary Ann grew up with the innate curiosity of exploring through creativity and incorporates holistic practices such as art therapy and intuitive energy healing into treatment.
Originally from Chicago, Mary Ann studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago and continued her studies at Loyola University Chicago, receiving her Master’s in Social Work. Prior to her work in treatment, Mary Ann spent 10 years working for the nonprofit sector, specifically working with foster youth, providing them with mental health and supportive services. Mary Ann is currently working towards her goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
