Sarah Sullivan’s journey is a powerful testament to resilience, determination, and transformation. She has navigated through significant challenges, including homelessness and incarceration, to embrace sobriety and rebuild her life. Her academic success in the Addiction Studies program at Pierce College is notable, achieving a 3.7 GPA and earning distinctions on both the Dean’s Honors List and President’s List. Beyond her personal achievements, Sarah’s commitment to her community shines through her involvement in the Homeless Outreach Program and her collaboration with the Topanga Police Department to increase awareness around addiction and mental health issues. Her outstanding contributions to the community were recognized with an award of appreciation from the West Hills Neighborhood Council. Now holding the certification of Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC II), Sarah continues to work towards her goal of becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Her inspiring journey highlights what is possible with determination, support, and a steadfast dedication to personal growth and helping others.
