Naomi started working in the treatment field nearly three years ago, after witnessing secondhand the role that addiction has played in the lives of those that she loves most. Naomi began working in the field as a behavioral technician and once she obtained her undergraduate degree, she became involved in the clinical team as a Case Manager. Naomi received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside, and is continuing her education to become a certified counselor with her completion of the Addiction Studies Program at Los Angeles Pierce College.

For almost two years now, Naomi has been working as a Group Facilitator/Counselor at Golden Road Recovery. During her time there, Naomi supports a number of clients through their recovery journey. As a part of her role at Golden Road Recovery, Naomi assists clients in developing a structured aftercare plan including long-term involvement in IOP while residing in a structured sober living environment. Naomi has substantial firsthand experience facilitating groups related to healthy boundary-setting, relapse prevention, communication, family dynamics, and co-occurring afflictions.

Naomi has a passion for helping those who struggle with the disease of addiction. Naomi strives to provide a safe space for individuals to process and heal from any past adversity. She is dedicated to assist her clients in any way that she possibly can.
